Whether your calendar has structural availability for her — or whether it's already full. She's running the salaried worker vs. billionaire audit. The salaried worker's calendar has flexible spaces ready to fill. The billionaire's calendar is full before she appears in it.

Why it works on most men

Vagueness in the answer signals availability. 'Not much, probably relaxing' tells her she can slot in whenever she wants. Specificity signals a full life. Most men answer vaguely to appear low-pressure. The intended effect is the opposite.

The response framework

The obvious: 'I have some things going on — why, what are you thinking?' Deflects the audit back onto her intentions. The disruptive: answer with specificity. 'I have [real thing] Saturday and [real thing] Sunday — why?' Specificity is abundance made audible. Vagueness is availability trying to disguise itself as nonchalance. She's reading both. The man with a full, real life doesn't hedge his weekend — he names it.
